We all know that everything in Hollywood that goes up...comes down..and, Sometimes it comes down super hard and super fast. Some, we want to fall really fast! It seems like only yesterday that the ET's- Access Hollywood's- Extra's and anything on E of the world , were worshiping the Plump blogger known as
Perezhilton.com who had/has somehow managed to fool everyone into thinking his site was exclusive. People actually said/thought at one time. he could make or break a career. ( boy have times changed). Now he is a joke in inner circles ...and after some major PR missteps..people just look at him NOT as a major Force to be reckoned with, but as a Lucky little fat boy who had good lawyers and was the first to challenge the freedom of speech and internet laws. We thank him for that. BUT..Guess what. he spins, borrows and copy and pastes stories JUST LIKE THE REST of us..who scour the News sites for the next big story. We then Write in a way to make it exciting or funny and branded to our style.
In the blogging entertainment world, its about who gets the Breaking news first. It really is. We all use the same sources and every blogger reads every other bloggers page. The only thing is, that most bloggers link a source or, promote other bloggers with a blog roll. El Porko is the only blogger who does not do that. Sad. guess that's why he is so hated as his site proudly proclaims. But, most importantly, is what has happened in the last year.. he is no longer in the coveted top 500 blogs. He has been surpassed by TMZ- radar Online..and other blogs are gaining fast. Heck, even fame whore Donald Trump didn't invite him back to be a judge for the Miss USA Pageant. NOW that's a Sign.
I pride myself in the fact my ass tries to cover a little bit of everything...SHOWBIZ- Political Schmooze and Weird funny stuff. I detest the reality Super trend in the country...where mediocre and mostly LESS then mediocre human beings are thrust into stardom for doing nothing more then making a home porn tape or competing on some reality show. I go after the Supposed singers who couldn't hold a note "live "if their life depended on it...( ok,.I judged Lady GaGa too harshly..but dammit the bitch is super talented and i apologized. we all make mistakes..and when she and Cyndi Lauper worked together for the AIDS Funding.I was hooked.)
Its a highly competitive world..and when Perez's Minions tried to have my face-book page deleted..I knew I must be doing something right... Blogging is fun for me. My Love is performing LIVE and doing on camera red carpets... have you ever seen "HIM" on a red carpet? with stars? Nope! I'm no where near the top 500..but I'm working on it. ..but we all know..one viral video ..or ONE story can make you an overnight sensation. Look at the 6th grader who sang "paparazzi" this week. People are acting as if he's the second coming in the music industry. He's cute- he's talented..but C'mon America..he's not Super star material ( yet). When a Kardashian or a Paris Hilton creates an empire beginning with a home made porn tape..ya gotta say to yourself..who does this? media? or, we as bloggers who write about it all the time.
Ok..I'm done venting.. I'm excited.. my blog is moving up and there are some great things happening in the coming weeks.I cannot wait to share with you...the launch of my new red carpet "live" shows and my new streaming Hollywood talk show..coming from downtown HOLLYWOOD.. Its all good and its all because of you ..My Fans and supporters..
