Oh, how the mighty may fall. TBN, The Trinity Broadcasting Network, home to Jesus and his two bestest friends Paul and "Jeezus" Jan Crouch, are under fire for "misappropriating" more than $50 million in viewer donations, most of which I'm sure is hidden in one of Jan's many, many, MANY wigs. Seriously... that's a LOT of hair. I've lived in apartments with less floor space.
The suit was filed by Brittany Koper, the Crouch's grandaughter, against two of TBN's former lawyers.
Koper's complaint is not directed against her grandparents or TBN – but against the two attorneys who handle some TBN legal work, and who once worked for Koper herself. She accuses them of professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and other transgressions in the suit.
Koper was using these attorneys for her personal affairs, and she went to them with her suspicions over the legality of the payments to TBN's directors, only to be told to shut up, return everything she had earned through TBN to the company and be gone, according to the suit.
Now, don't get all worried. I'm sure if they pray hard enough this will all go away.. you know, like gays and athiests and unibrows. If the suit moves forward and other parties are named, Jan and Co. may have to change her wig color from Pious Pink to Bankrupt Black. Remind me to get the number of her stylist.
