Some of us think of golf as a bunch of rich pot bellied white men in golf carts, a huge waste of land and very friggin boring.. Well lets forget boring cuz, last week, 48-year-old Clay Carpenter was golfing in Eagle Mountain Lake, Texas. He and his group were playing behind another foursome who were playing slowly. So they asked if they could play through.
The slower group apparently took that as a major insult and started a PHYSICAL FIGHT with Clay and his group.
These guys were seriously pissed. One of Clay's golf clubs was broken and one of the guys from the slow group grabbed the jagged handle and STABBED Clay in his leg.
The muscles in the lower half of his leg atrophied during his recovery and portions of it have died from the lack of blood flow, he said.
"If it does not regenerate it will be no good to me," Carpenter said.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department has an active criminal investigation in progress, said spokesman Terry Grisham.
