NORWALK, Calif. (KTLA) -- A man convicted of stalking and making criminal threats against singing star Madonna, has walked away from a State mental hospital in Norwalk.
Authorities say 54-year-old Robert Dewey Hoskins walked away from the Metropolitan State Hospital on Friday, February 3.
Hoskins had previously served a ten year prison sentence for stalking Madonna.
He wanted to marry the pop star and threatened to kill her.
Two decades ago, Hoskins even sneaked onto Madonna's property and was shot by her body guard.
Upon his release from prison Hoskins was sent to Atascadero State Hospital where he was determined to be a Mentally Disturbed Offender.
