Adam Yauch Of The Beastie Boys Has Passed Away

 Adam "MCA" Yauch, one of the founding members of the Beastie Boys along with Mike D and Ad Rock, passed away away this morning at the age of 47.

In 2009, Yauch was treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node and underwent surgery and radiation therapy. He is survived by his wife and daughter.  So young.
