1876 - General GEORGE CUSTER and 265 white men of the Seventh U.S. Cavalry were slaughtered by Sioux and Cheyenne Indians at the BATTLE OF LITTLE BIG HORN in Montana. The White Man was trying to move the Indians onto reservations . . . and Custer thought his men could handle the Indians without reinforcements. Umm..He was wrong.
