A NEW MEANING TO BLIND TASTE TESTS
This is pretty amazing.. .I can just imagine how well I'd do ..The kitchen would look like a bomb went off, and I'd end up in the emergency room..
Ha, 33, lost her sight at 19 due to Neuromyelitis optica. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is an autoimmune disease which, among other things, attacks the optic nerves and can, as it did in the case of Ha, cause blindness. She needs to use a cane when walking or have people guide her.
She says she has only ever cut herself once. It's one thing to cook for yourself in your home if you are blind, but it is so much harder to do it in a tvstudio where everything is unfamiliar.
