Hot Dog Hooker Gets Time Served; Appeared In Court Wearing Bikini, Carrying Hot Dogs

The mother of four dubbed Long Islands" Hot Dog Hooker," was sentenced Monday to a week in jail but was immediately released after being credited five days served.

Catherine Scalia who maintains that she did not offer sex to customers in exchange for money, pleaded guilty to a prostitution charge. Scalia told reporters she was eager to get back to work, appearing in court wearing a bathing suit and holding a package of hot dogs.

Scalia was arrested last month and charged with prostitution as a result of an ongoing investigation that was started after police were tipped off about her using a hot dog vending truck on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin where she prostituted herself to clients.
