NORWALK, Calif. (KABC) -- A 52-year-old man was arrested Sunday for allegedly threatening to use a gun before a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" at a Norwalk movie theater.
Authorities said Clark Tabor held his cellphone in the air and yelled, "Does anyone have a gun?" and "I should go off like Colorado," apparently in reference to the mass shooting during the same movie in Aurora, Colo., that left 12 people dead and 58 others injured.
Tabor was allegedly upset around 5:15 p.m. that the movie had not started.
A moviegoer reported the suspect's behavior to AMC Norwalk 20 security. According to authorities, a security officer went inside the movie theater and said he saw the suspect had a backpack and was on his knees in the second row of seats.
Several witnesses confirmed that Tabor had created a disturbance. They said they feared he was going to pull a gun from his backpack and shoot them.
No weapons were found on Tabor, in the theater or at his home.
