Just hours earlier, the two released a joint statement, first reported by People, addressing custody of their six-year-old daughter and making a not-so-subtle reference to their difference of opinion over Scientology.

"We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents."
