but it is official..an autotuned - over hyped singing Chipmonk with no Singing talent whatsoever be judging singers... Proving its no longer about the talent...but about the Judges. I like Kieth urban he's very talented..and of course Mariah Carey is the REAL DEAL.. but Minaj and randy DAWG Jackson...are like WTF judges..
Minaj’s contract is rumored to be in the $10 million to $12 million range. Urban, who quit his gig as a judge on the Australian version of The Voice late last week, is rumored to be earning about $3 million to $5 million next season.
"Idol" hopes Carey will provide star power while Jackson offers a familiar face and Minaj draws a younger, hip-hop Clueless audience. It hopes Urban will draw a country audience, as Blake Shelton does to "The Voice."
