UPDATE!! "The Dictator" To Walk The Red Carpet!

Just announced, Sacha Baron Cohen has been invited by the producers of The Academy Awards to crash attend the presitious awards ceremony dressed as Admiral Gen. Shabazz Aladeen, his alter-ego for the upcoming comedy The Dictator.

"We're thrilled to have him and he'll be on the red carpet dressed as The Dictator," Brian Grazer told Extra.

While initially leary (and rightly so, considering some of the stunts Cohen has pulled at other awards shows), the Oscar producers seem to have seen the light, as the possibility of higher ratings from the chance of Cohen doing something unexpected might have been too good an opportunity to pass up, not to mention all the free press he'll get for his film.

An Academy spokesperson said she had not heard about the plans for Cohen, but if the welcome mat stays unfurled, Cohen will have succeeded in pulling off one of the more brazen publicity stunts in recent Hollywood history. The Oscars, viewed by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, will give Cohen and The Dictator a huge promotional platform.

In another moment that portrays his flip floppin ass as out of touch with everyday Americans, Mitt Romney listed not two, not three, but four American-made cars he and his wife Ann own -- including "a couple of Cadillacs" that Ann drives.

"I like the fact that most of the cars I see are Detroit-made automobiles," Romney said during an economic policy address at Ford Field in Detroit on Friday. "I drive a Mustang and a Chevy pickup truck. Ann drives a couple of Cadillacs actually. I used to have a Dodge pickup truck, so I used to have all three covered."

He's like friggin Rain man with the tree shit.

  A company called RC3 has created a mobile app called Joustin' Beaver.  The app is a cartoon game, in which the user floats down a river, defending Joustin' from the phot-hogs.

Of course, the Beaver looks like the Biebs, and that has upset him so, his lawyers have fired off a cease and desist letter to RC3, demanding they cease production and sales, stat.   Lawyers for Justin (the person) want the app removed from iTunes and they want an accounting of all revenues collected by RC3.  

But RC3 says Bullshit  and will continue selling the 99 cent app, claiming it's a parody and therefore protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Opponents of the Screen Actors Guild's proposed merger with the American Federation of Television & Radio Actors filed a lawsuit Wednesday to stop the union from asking its members to vote on the plan.

The suit alleges that the SAG board of directors has breached its fiduciary duties by failing to conduct a study detailing the effects of the proposed merger on SAG membership pension and health benefits.

Among the SAG members listed as co-defendants are Martin Sheen, Ed Harris, Diane Ladd, Edward Asner, and Nancy Sinatra.
