Students invent anti-rape protection underwear with GPS Positioning?? WTF?

Three engineering students at SRM University in Chennai have invented a set of electrified underwear to help prevent rape.

The "anti-rape underwear" is designed to shock rapists and alert a victim's family of the sexual assault.

The underwear, called Society Harnessing Equipment (SHE), deploys a 3,800kV charge to anyone touching the outside of the underwear while protecting the wearer with a polymer lining.

It can shock an attacker up to 82 times.

he bra of this underwear set is equipped with GPS tracking device that can notify cops and family members in real-time in the event of an attack.

"A person trying to molest a girl will get the shock of his life the moment pressure sensors get activated, and the GPS and GSM modules would send an SMS (to police) as well as to parents of the girl," Manisha Mohan, who helped develop the product, told The Times of India.

Teen girls carjacked Elderly woman, 89, and drove around for 24 hours with her locked in her own trunk

In Delaware, a pair of teenage girls allegedly carjacked an 89-year-old woman and drove around with her in the trunk for nearly two days and then dumped her in a cemetary.

The girls, aged 14 and 15, asked the woman for a lift home. When she agreed, they repaid her kindness – by demanding her keys and forcing her into the trunk. 

The girls even picked up two 17-year-old boys and kept driving around with the poor woman back there.

 

They eventually let her out at a cemetery more than 20 miles from where she had picked them up. She was taken to the hospital for treatment and released.

 

All four teens were charged as adults. The girls were charged with robbery, carjacking, kidnapping, and conspiracy – and were held on $122,000 cash bonds. The two boys were charged with kidnapping, conspiracy and receiving stolen property and are being held on $27,000. (NY Daily News)

Couple Addicted to Coffee Enemas... good to the last drop?

A Florida couple who don’t drink coffee have become addicted to coffee enemas.

Mike and Trina of St. Petersburg, who did not want their last name used, say the enemas take hours every day. They both work at home and only leave the house for a short period of time because they are unable to do without the daily ritual.

Trina had been suffering from a variety of illnesses when she came across coffee enemas. "I had a lot of stomach problems, digestive problems with my kidney and my liver," she said. "I started research and it led into coffee enemas and I really started to feel the benefit. I felt like I was living for the first time in years."

Dr. Roshini Rajapaksa, a gastroenterologist at NYU Medical Center, said, “Frequent enemas have no proven benefit but can cause irritation –and there is always risk when a hose is inserted into the colon."

The couple will be featured on this season’s My Strange Addiction, airing Wednesday, February 13th, on TLC. (UPI)
